kite's

within school i have learned about kite's, and how they fly. they do not fly well unless there are winds. i learned that local winds are better to help fly the kite, then global winds! the kite i made was also not dinamicly able to fly. i needed to make the kite be able to be picked up by the winds. my kite was flat and could not fly as well as some other kids in my class!

artic life

within the class we have watched the movie artic life! this movie was about how a new born bear and a new born walrus went through global worming.
some affects were:
1- the snow and ice melted.
2- the water didnt freeze enough for the bear to walk on and get food.
3- the ice and the snow was thin so the seels got away from the moma bear.
4- the floting ice was too small and thin for the walrous to clime on to it.
the walrus had to swim around 200 miles away to get to the new land. sad enough the bear had to do the same. the bear and the walrus had not much to eat. it got too close that the bear almost died. the best part of the movie was when the bear and the walrus had babys of there own!
